ADD BEHAVIOURAL STRATEGIES WORKSHOP
About the Workshop
This powerful one-day Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) symptom management and success workshop explores mental, emotional, and practical techniques and strategies for overcoming the challenges presented by ADD. The workshop is led by experienced mental health professionals with decades of experience and special expertise in the area of ADD symptom behavioural management.
While the traditional medication-based treatment philosophy to deal with ADD (e.g., stimulants) can often achieve amazing results for many people, some find the standard medication-based approach just isn't enough to overcome the challenges of living with ADD.
An effective alternative to medication-based treatment for ADD is learning and practising time-tested behavioural management techniques that dramatically change the way your mental attitude and the way you structure and organise your life.
This is why we created our ADD Behavioural Strategies Workshop.

Change Your Mind, Change Your Life
Some of the tried and tested practical tools utilised in this life-changing workshop for clients to manage and overcome their ADD symptoms include:
Practising mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation techniques for developing better focus, concentration, and 'presence'.
Re-engineering your internal programming
Exploring subconscious thoughts and feelings to unearth limiting beliefs and ideas that keep us 'stuck', and replacing these programs with empowering affirmations and other helpful beliefs about ourselves and life.
Using self-hypnosis
Using personal affirmations and creative visualisation to create your vision of success.
What Drives Your Behaviour?
This online workshop will introduce and familiarise you with highly effective personal methods designed to create permanent positive changes in your 'internal programming.'
The term 'internal programming' is used to describe a number of different mental and emotional processes that drive human behaviour. Another way of describing our internal programming is to view it as our operating system. This includes the beliefs and values we form from our life experiences and store in our subconscious mind from the time we were born and the primal drives or urges of our unconscious mind that are responsible for basic wants and needs in life.
We refer to this as internal programming because these underlying mental processes are largely responsible for our habits, routines, patterns, and attitudes.
Much like a computer, internal programming can be wiped clean and over-written with an updated program (of your choosing) with the help of an experienced professional who is familiar with guiding people in conducting an introspective self-examination of their inner thoughts and feelings about life, with the aim of introducing lasting positive change that leads to a happier and healthier outlook on life.
The workshop facilitators will guide participants through a deep inner exploration to uncover the programs that keep us stuck in life. The participants will also learn highly effective techniques to re-program themselves to have a 'can-do' attitude and achieve success in the face of life's many challenges.
Mindfulness — Be Here, Now
Mindfulness can be defined as a state of being consciously aware in the present moment, otherwise known as the 'here and now'. A state of being 'mindfully aware' helps you be present with what is happening in front of you and in your immediate surroundings.
The ability to achieve this desirable state at will has incredible benefits for people with ADD. As ADD is a state of being unable to manage focus and concentration due to uncontrolled thoughts, mindfulness training helps to improve these aspects.
The workshop facilitators have decades of experience in helping their clients learn how to use mindfulness to become masters of their minds. The results of having better focus and concentration can be quite astounding. The ability to accomplish tasks within set frames and achieve personal goals is the key to manifesting the life you truly desire.
Self-Hypnosis for Success
Self-hypnosis is the ability to go into a hypnotic state without the assistance of a hypnotist for the purpose of making changes to our internal programming.
Some of the benefits self-hypnosis can provide include:
- Better sleep
- Reduce stress and enhance relaxation
- Manage pain
- Increase personal performance
- Reduce anxiety
- Release fears and phobias
- Receive answers to difficult problems
- Accomplish goals
- Cease smoking
- Lose weight
Hypnosis and self-hypnosis have stood the test of time and scrutiny of modern science as being one of the quickest and most powerful ways of reaching our subconscious mind and creating positive change in our lives. With regular practice, a person can learn to go into a hypnotic state quickly and without assistance.
A hypnotic state is similar to a deep meditative state. Getting your brain wave frequency to enter the alpha state or even better, the theta level, will enable you to implant empowering language to change your behaviour and attitude. Anyone can learn to do this. The results you achieve will improve with practice. In this workshop, we will break self-hypnosis down into three distinct parts:
- Meditation
- Positive affirmations
- Creative visualisation
The facilitators will demonstrate how these three self-improvement techniques achieve superior results with self-hypnosis. There are a variety of ways to make this method work for you, including the use of meditation music and guided meditations.
