NDIS SERVICES
What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?
The NDIS is a government-funded service designed to assist qualifying Australians with significant and permanent disabilities (and their families and carers) with the necessary support and services they need to improve their quality of life. The service offers an extra level of care and support for people with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) is the independent government agency responsible for implementing, facilitating, and delivering the NDIS in Australia.
There is no shame in recognising the need for this assistance and requesting it. If you require special support services to help overcome the limitations of a disabling condition, then it's important to understand that the NDIS program was created for this purpose. After all, that's exactly why NDIS came into existence. The primary goal of NDIS services is to assist clients in making personal choices about the care and support they receive with the aim of helping them achieve a sense of independence and reasonable quality of life. The NDIS helps people look for the support they need in different several ways:

The primary goal of NDIS services is to assist clients in making personal choices about the care and support they receive with the aim of helping them achieve a sense of independence and reasonable quality of life. The NDIS helps people look for the support they need in different several ways:
- Assistance accessing mainstream services such as healthcare and education systems
- Access to community-based services such as non-profit services and community groups
- Creating, fostering, and maintaining close personal relationships with family and friends
- Obtaining funding for reasonable and necessary support services is needed to lead a normal life despite the challenges imposed by a serious disability.
